May 27th – Jun 6th

This weeks find just walked in the door yesterday!  One of the local pickers brought us a few pair of old eye glasses and inside 3 of the pairs were the original cleaning cloth advertisements (One with MIDLAND, one with BARRIE and one with MIDLAND and PENETANG references).

One of the glass cases also has “Midland Ontario” in gold stamp.  One pair of the glasses also has a set of early Ray Ban clip on sun glass lenses and one pair of glasses are the arm free pair with just a ribbon.  (One set is also gold filled)

The other great local piece was A Winterama Carnival Hat from 1960 with button! (The button shows a fan powered ice boat)
